Contraceptive Patch

A contraceptive patch is among many birth control options available. The patch is unique in that it’s applied to the skin, releasing synthetic estrogen and progestin hormones to prevent pregnancy. Directions include: apply to the skin, change weekly, and wear no patch on the 4th week. As with all medications, side effects can happen. Ask Dr. Hill about possible birth control side effects.
