Syphilis

Also known as spirochete, syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacteria. Syphilis is spread by person to person with direct contact with the sore. Some symptoms may be a painless, smooth sore, swallow lymph glands in your groin area, warts or rash. A blood test can be done to test for syphilis. If not treated, syphilis can cause major health problems, infect many parts of the body and even cause death. Syphilis can be treated with antibiotics.
