4D Ultrasound

A 4D ultrasound is similar to a 3D ultrasound, with the difference being associated with time; a 4D ultrasound shows a 3-dimensional picture moving in real time, whereas a 3D ultrasound shows a three-dimensional computer constructed image.

Dr. Hill recommends a 4D ultrasound only when it is necessary for medical reasons, in order to examine any possible fetal problems. If you are in Youngstown, Warren, or Salem, Ohio and would like a 4D ultrasound, schedule a visit to see Dr. Hill for an obstetrician appointment. As an OB/GYN, Dr. Hill can answer any questions you may have about a 4D ultrasound and the results of the scan.
